Sittingbourne is an industrial town in Kent, south-east England, 17 miles from Canterbury and 45 miles from London, beside the Roman Watling Street, an ancient British trackway used by the Romans and the Anglo-Saxons and next to the Swale, a strip of sea separating mainland Kent from the Isle of Sheppey.
A windscreen repair is a procedure to fix small cracks or chips in a car’s windshield, typically done by injecting a resin into the affected area to fill in the damage and restore the structural integrity of the glass.
01.
Stone chips are repairable depending on size & location on the screen.
If your screen has a crack then unfortunately it is also a full replacement, not a windscreen repair.
If you are unsure call us directly.
02.
What we do is inject British standard resin in the stone chip to get integrity back into the glass full filling the chip taking out any grit or water that may have got into the crack.
The earlier the windscreen repair the better the outcome.
03.
Now repaired you will not have to worry about your stone chip turning into a crack. The chip is capped off so you do not get any further damage to your wiper blades & your windscreen is smooth.
